The Continental Party
Reclaiming Our Heritage
God Country Liberty
The “Liberty Bell” was commissioned in 1751 to commemorate the 50th Anniversary of William Penn’s 1701 Charter of Privileges-
Pennsylvania’s original Constitution. It has become a national icon symbolizing liberty and freedom.
Perhaps the time has come to replace the Liberty Bell with the Bell Curve as a national symbol of liberty. In statistics and probability theory, the normal distribution is a continuous probability distribution that describes data that clusters around a mean or average. The graph of this normal distribution is bell shaped with a peak at the average. Figure 1 is
a bell shaped curve showing politics in America with a two-party system.

Political Parties at War
The Democratic and Republican Parties have extreme views on all major issues and have abandoned the majority in the middle who hold traditional positions. Given a choice of only extreme candidates, the electorate has reacted predictably. One-third simply don't vote; they Study the voting pattern of the last 50 years. Eisenhower (Republican)-Kennedy/Johnson (Democrat)-Nixon/Ford (Republican)-Carter(Democrat)-Reagan/Bush (Republican)-Clinton (Democrat)-Bush (Republican)-Obama (Democrat). Do you see the back and forth oscillating pattern? The electorate wants the pendulum to stay in the middle. They simply don't have that choice. So they settle for using one party as a check and balance on the other The pendulum is at least in the middle during the transfer of power! If a majority party ever came to power, it could probably stay there for twenty to thirty years. Maybe forever! Why is this allowed to continue? Primarily because the two parties The Democratic-Republican Party was formed in the 1790's by Thomas Jefferson and James Madison. They embraced a rural class of farmers, strict interpretation of the constitution, and a weak federal government. Their chief opposition was the Federalist Party, which was dominated by Alexander Hamilton, who advocated a strong central government, a loose interpretation of the constitution, and a republic governed by a well-educated professional class. After two hundred years, the Democratic-Republican Party is back together again as the Governmentalist Party, embracing the worst of the original two philosophies. Power and control are always the core values. The Governmentalist Party (both the Democratic branch and the Republican branch) disparages the majority who hold common sense positions. The Democratic branch is so far to the left, they think that the majority are out of touch with new, progressive views. The Republicans are so far to the right, they disdain the majority as much as they disdain the left. Both branches of the Governmentalist Party see the majority as not worthy of serious consideration. Consider the following comparisons between the two parties. The Governmentalist Party is on the two extremes, and the Continental Party representing the majority is in the middle.

have no horse in the race. Another third oscillate. Only thirty percent (fifteen percent from each party) get to vote for a candidate and party that represents them.
in power deceive the American people with the blessing and assistance
of the media (read propaganda) machine. Both the politicians and the media are ignorant about bell shaped curves. They believe and state that issues, values, and beliefs are distributed like the U-shaped curve in Figure 2. They claim that elections are close because the electorate is closely and deeply divided over major issues. Not true! They are the ones who are at war with each other and with the populace in the middle. Washington D.C. is usurping the money and liberty of the middle to promote the deviant liberties of the two extremes. Why is there no traditional party promoting the liberties of the middle? Because the one thing the two parties agree on is using their power to prevent a majority party from competing on the uneven election field that they control.

The majority of Americans hold time-honored values and embrace traditional principles that have created safety, prosperity, and freedom. The political elite who control Washington D.C. do not represent the views of the majority of Americans. They hold extremist positions, and attempt to impose the ideology of the radical minority upon the majority at any cost. They must be stopped before they destroy the country.
